It is observed that a vehicle which has a door at the rear side gathers more dust inside when moving at high speed on a dusty road with the door open than the one which has an open door on the side. Explain this observation.

As air moves, it carries dust with it.
Along the sides, air flow is streamlined; pressure is thus lower than inside so dust does not enter.
At the rear, turbulence sets in causing eddies. This disturbance allows air to enter inside the vehicle, with dust.
On the sides we have streamlined flow hence dust pass at high speed creating region of low pressure hence cannot get in whre there is high pressure.at the back its flat hence turbulent flow forming eddies and whirls hence dust get in.
