Convection cannot transfer heat because the convection currents move/circulate above the bulb.Conduction cannotapply her because air is a very poor conductor of heat. Since radiation does not require a material medium,it is therefore the only mode to transfer heat below the bulb source
It’s only radiation that doesn’t require a medium for transmission to take place and light too doesn’t require a medium for its propagation.
